APTA Montana Highlighted Nationally for Advocacy Success

APTA Montana was recently featured in APTA Magazine's national article, The Real Value of Physical Therapy: APTA Report Proves Its Worth. The story spotlights how APTA Montana leaders, including President Emily Herndon, PT, DPT, used APTA's Economic Value of Physical Therapy in the United States report to strengthen advocacy efforts during the 2025 legislative session. By leveraging the report's data, APTA Montana demonstrated the economic benefits of early access to physical therapy, contributing to the passage of SB 109 -- allowing PTs to serve as treating physicians in Montana's workers' compensation system.
