Although this bill passed, we have a lot of work ahead before you can begin this type of work in your practice. We will release more information this week, but it will be several months before you can begin.
Next Steps:
- APTA Montana is working with the Montana Department of Labor to ensure guidance and resources are developed for those who choose to take on this new role.
- Rulemaking by the Department is expected to be completed by this fall.
- APTA Montana will offer multiple educational opportunities to help physical therapists prepare to implement this new responsibility correctly and confidently.
